GJUBBWWC is committed to understanding and resolving the common struggles that the people of the Nayagram area face by implementing means to replace poverty, hunger, illiteracy, and disease with hope for the future.

Gohaldiha Jati Upjati Blue Bird Women’s Welfare Centre primarily works for the empowerment of children, women, underprivileged, and disabled poor people at  Kharikamathani, in Jhargram. It is situated in the remotest corner of Jharagram. This organization works for the welfare of Schedule Tribe and Schedule Caste, and other primitive tribes. It has worked to uplift the educational, cultural, social, and financial development of SC/ST children and women in the locality for the last 30 years.
